Awareness and Education
HYTICOS undertakes awareness and education initiatives to build understanding of wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation challenges among students and the wider public. Through school programmes, public events, and creative outreach, we aim to foster ecological literacy, encourage responsible stewardship, and strengthen long-term support for conservation.

International Tiger Day - July 29th
International Tiger Day, observed annually on 29 July, is a flagship awareness programme of HYTICOS. Each year, the initiative engages around 700 students from 13 schools, introducing them to tiger conservation, forest ecosystems, and the importance of protecting wildlife habitats. Through interactive sessions, discussions, and visual learning, the programme helps young audiences understand the role of tigers as apex predators and their significance in maintaining ecological balance.

Legal Owl -
HYTICOS' Legal Expert
Legal Owl is a creative awareness initiative by HYTICOS that aims to simplify and communicate environmental law, wildlife protection regulations, and conservation issues in an accessible manner. Through illustrated content and concise explanations, Legal Owl helps bridge the gap between legal frameworks and public understanding, empowering citizens to engage more meaningfully with environmental governance and conservation.

Last Urban Natural Green Spaces (LUNGS)

As part of its education and public engagement efforts, HYTICOS conducts guided nature walks and outreach activities under LUNGS (Last Urban Natural Green Spaces). These initiatives encourage people to observe urban biodiversity, understand the ecological value of green spaces, and recognise their role in making cities healthier and more resilient. LUNGS serves as a platform to connect communities with nature within rapidly urbanising environments.
