MEET THE TEAM
HYTICOS is supported by a committed team of conservation practitioners, researchers, educators, and volunteers working across the Deccan landscape to protect wildlife, strengthen ecosystems, and promote coexistence through field action and collaboration.
Founding Team

Field and Admin Staff
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
HYTICOS field staff are actively involved in on-ground conservation activities, including wildlife monitoring, threat assessments, data collection, and coordination with forest department teams. Their work ensures consistent field presence, reliable data generation, and effective implementation of conservation initiatives across diverse landscapes.

Field Assistants
Local Knowledge. Stewardship. Empowerment.
Field assistants are primarily recruited from local communities, recognising their deep knowledge of the landscape and its forests. By engaging community members directly in conservation work, HYTICOS supports local empowerment, strengthens stewardship of natural resources, and builds long-term capacity for protecting forests and wildlife.
Our Dedicated Volunteers
Volunteers are an important part of HYTICOS’s conservation journey. From assisting in awareness programmes and citizen science initiatives to supporting events, outreach, and documentation, volunteers help extend the reach and impact of our work.
Through their enthusiasm, skills, and commitment to nature, volunteers contribute to building a stronger conservation community. HYTICOS welcomes individuals who are passionate about wildlife, ecology, and environmental stewardship to join us in protecting the natural heritage of the twin states.
