🦋 Last walk before Big Butterfly Month comes to a close!
Our previous Butterfly Walks brought together curious minds who were happy to pause, scan the foliage, and notice a world that is easy to miss. With so many people asking for another one, we’re heading out again- this time for our third Butterfly Walk.
Join naturalists Ashly Bijj and Ambika Rajput for an afternoon of butterfly spotting at one of Hyderabad’s green spaces. We’ll look beyond names and colours to understand what these insects are doing- where they rest, what they feed on, which plants their caterpillars depend on, and how their presence changes with the seasons. Hosted by Aparanjani, Naturalist, Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park (MHVNP). 🌿 What we’ll explore:
Learn to identify butterflies commonly seen around Hyderabad
Understand butterfly behaviour and their host plants
Understand their role as pollinators and indicators of healthy ecosystems
