With Harshitha Kaja, Founder & Creative Lead, HTribe
Hyderabad is usually introduced through its monuments. This talk takes a different route- through its rocks, water, plants and wildlife.
Join Harshitha Kaja, Founder & Creative Lead at HTribe, to explore how 2,500-million-year-old granite shaped Hyderabad’s boulder landscapes, lakes, scrublands and the wildlife they once supported.
Travel back to a time when Begumpet, Bolarum and Secunderabad were open country, home to wolves, leopards, striped hyenas, blackbuck and chinkara. Discover the history of Hyderabad’s lakes and tank systems, Salim Ali’s 1931 bird survey, and the evolution of the Nizam’s game reserves into protected areas.
